Extensiv Fulfillment Marketplace review: powerful software, US-tilted matching
Extensiv brings a huge 3PL network and a deep software ecosystem. Here is an honest review, and why European sellers may prefer a lighter, EU-focused matching platform.

Extensiv's Fulfillment Marketplace comes from a company with real weight in logistics software, and any honest review has to start by acknowledging that pedigree before making the case for why a platform built purely around fulfilment in Europe may suit EU sellers better. Extensiv is not a lightweight, and that is both its strength and, for some brands, its complication.
What Extensiv does well
The scale is the headline: more than 1,500 connected 3PLs, backed by 17-plus years of industry experience. The matching runs through two tools: a Solution Finder questionnaire that recommends partners based on your goals, and a browsable 3PL Directory of pre-vetted providers you can filter by need. That combination of guided and self-serve is sensible.
The real differentiator, though, is the software ecosystem around it. Extensiv's Integration Manager (formerly CartRover) connects to hundreds of technology providers, and the company sells implementation and consulting services on top. If you want your fulfilment partner and your integration layer and your consulting all from one vendor, that breadth is genuinely useful and hard to match.
The honest trade-offs
Two considerations matter if you are a European seller.
First, the geography is US-tilted. The public marketplace material speaks in terms of nationwide coverage and does not surface much about European coverage specifically. That does not mean European partners are absent, but it does mean Europe is not the centre of gravity, and the vetting, the network density, and the tooling are shaped by a primarily North American market.
Second, it is a platform, not just a match. The depth of the software ecosystem is a feature if you want it and overhead if you do not. A smaller European brand that simply needs the right partner for its countries and platforms may find the full Extensiv stack heavier than the job requires. The matching itself is semi-automated: questionnaire and directory browsing rather than instant algorithmic scoring against structured fields.
Again, these are trade-offs, not failings. For a US-centric operation that wants an all-in-one logistics-software relationship, Extensiv is a strong choice.
Where FulfilEU fits differently
FulfilEU is deliberately narrower and lighter. It does one thing, match European brands to European fulfilment partners, and it does it against the fields that decide a European match: countries served with real carrier rates, platform integrations, volume fit, and COD and VAT/IOSS support. There is no software suite to adopt and no consulting engagement to book. You set your constraints, the matching runs instantly, and you get a ranked shortlist in seconds.
For a brand whose problem is "find me the right European partner, quickly, without adopting a whole platform", that focus is the point.
The honest verdict
Extensiv is a serious, capable marketplace with a network and a software ecosystem few can rival, and if you want an all-in-one North American logistics-tech relationship it is well worth evaluating. If you are a European seller who wants fast, self-serve matching against Europe-specific capabilities, without taking on a full platform to get there, FulfilEU is built for exactly that narrower job.
