Kitting and assembly in Europe, many parts, one clean SKU
Bundles, gift sets and subscription kits sell well and ship badly when they are assembled order by order. Get matched to European partners that pre-kit and assemble your products so a multi-part offer goes out as a single, accurate, on-time parcel.

Assembled ahead, dispatched as one item
Kitting is where margin quietly leaks: assembling a bundle at the moment of dispatch is slow, error-prone and turns a simple order into a mistake waiting to happen. The matching filters to partners that build your kits in advance, track them as their own stock item, and pick them like any other SKU — so bundles ship as fast and accurately as singles.
Pre-built kits tracked as one SKU
Filter to partners that assemble bundles ahead of demand and hold them as a single stock unit with its own barcode, so a gift set or multipack is picked in one move rather than reassembled per order.
Assembly to your specification
See partners that build to your rules — components, inserts, branded packaging, promotional add-ins and seasonal kits — and adjust the recipe when your bundle changes, without you touching a warehouse.
How kitting and assembly works
- 01
Define the kit
Tell us what goes into each bundle — the components, packaging and any inserts — plus how many kits you expect to move, the platforms you sell on and the markets you ship to.
- 02
Compare shortlists
Partners are filtered to those set up for kitting and light assembly at your volume, then scored on fit for your packaging, integrations and turnaround — so you compare on assembly capability, not just storage rate.
- 03
Request an intro
Send a request with your kit spec and volumes attached, so pricing reflects real assembly labour and materials rather than a plain pick-and-pack sample.
- 01
Build the kit
Components are combined into finished bundles to your recipe — assembled, packed and, where needed, shrink-wrapped or boxed — either ahead of demand or on a schedule that matches your sales.
- 02
Register as stock
Each finished kit is booked in as its own SKU with a barcode, and its components are decremented, so inventory stays accurate across both the parts and the built bundles.
- 03
Pick and dispatch
When an order for the bundle lands, the pre-built kit is picked in a single motion, packed and dispatched like any other order, with tracking back to your store.

Hvad er kitting and assembly?
Kitting and assembly is a value-added fulfilment service where individual components are combined into a single ready-to-ship unit before it is ordered — gift sets, multipacks, bundles, subscription boxes, retail-ready displays or promotional kits. Instead of assembling a bundle at the moment each order is picked, the fulfilment partner builds kits in advance to the merchant's recipe, books each finished kit in as its own SKU with a barcode, and decrements the component stock. When an order arrives, the pre-built kit is picked in one move like any other product. Light assembly can also include simple tasks such as attaching tags, inserting manuals, applying labels or minor product finishing. Done well it removes per-order assembly time and error, keeps inventory accurate across both parts and bundles, and lets a merchant sell combinations without operating the assembly step themselves.

Ofte stillede spørgsmål
What is kitting in fulfilment?
Kitting is combining several separate items into one packaged unit that ships as a single SKU — for example a gift set, a multipack or a subscription box. The fulfilment partner assembles the kit in advance to your specification and holds it as its own stock item, so it can be picked and shipped in one move rather than assembled for each order.
How is kitting different from pick and pack?
Pick and pack handles single stock items: the right unit is picked and packed for each order. Kitting adds a build step beforehand, turning several components into one finished unit that is then picked and packed like any SKU. If your product is a bundle or set made of parts, you need kitting on top of standard pick and pack.
How is kitting and assembly priced?
Usually as an assembly fee per kit built, covering the labour and any packaging materials, separate from the normal storage and pick-and-pack fees. Complex kits with more components or finishing steps cost more per unit. Price it against your real kit recipe and expected volumes, and ask whether kits are built to a forecast or on demand, since that affects turnaround.
Can kits be changed for promotions or seasons?
Yes. A good partner will adjust the kit recipe when you run a promotion, swap an insert, add a seasonal item or change packaging. Give reasonable notice so components are in stock and the build is scheduled, and confirm how unsold seasonal kits are broken back down into their parts afterwards.
Does kitting keep my inventory accurate?
It should. When a kit is built, its components are decremented and the finished kit is booked in as its own unit, so the system reflects both. Ask a prospective partner how they handle stock across components and built kits, because a weak setup here is where bundles and their parts drift out of sync.
